Reviews about Walgreens

  • May 30, 2020, by Ken
Came here tonight after a later visit to the emergency department with 4 prescriptions to be filled. Decided to go in instead of the drive-thru and just wait while it was being ready - got inside and only one man was in front of me and the pharmacist was literally jogging at one point from grabbing different medicines to bagging it an so forth simply so he could make the process easier for the man and so he could get back home to his wife whom the medicine was for. Got all 4 of my scripts done in about 20 minutes which is fast for them. I'm pretty positive his name was Randy but not 100% but if he is Randy or whatever his name is.. Walgreens has a great pharmacist in him as he was extremely hard working and VERY personable. Spoke with a gentlemen while waiting for my medicine that is a pain management patient and said that Randy (or Whatever his name is if I am mistaken, which if I am mistaken then I apologize to him) has been so great to him when any other pharmacist have not and have been judgement of his prescriptions and pain I guess and just how thankful he was - my point with that was that the man couldn't say a bad thing about him and spent a solid 5 mintes talking about how great he is and looks forward getting to come In and speak with him due when it's time for his refills and I could see this reflected by how personable he was to the man. He was asking the man about how he's doing just in general, not involving medicine or anything and seemed to genuinely care. When it was turn to pay for my medicine i asked him if he was the only one working in there or if maybe someone was on lunch/called in and he said that he was the only worker in there which was sad because he seemed very pressured to get things done quickly but was doing so great at doing so! Whoever is Randy's boss should consider giving him a raise or some recognition for how hard he works and for his kindness towards patients. He was literally to about to break a sweat it looked like while he was explaining my medicine to me from not only filling my 4 prescriptions but at least 2 other customers inside as well as 2 more cars in the drive-thru from running around trying to make everyone's wait shorter. I have never seen a pharmacist who was that dedicated to working quickly but very efficiently to try and get everyone's scripts filled so they could get home, take a dose, get some rest and be on the way to feeling much better. Just thought this store should know that they have a gem of an employee!
